It's time to look at the sky for November and see what's in store...

Friday, November 3rd  

Main Event: Venus enters Virgo

Venus is in Virgo until the end of November which is a place of weakness for Venus. We can see Venus themes presenting challenges, for example relationship and partnership areas of life. Discomfort can come and difficulties around areas of life ruled by Venus in an individual chart. 

Saturday, November 4th 

Main Event: Saturn turns direct

After about 4 months of retrograde motion Saturn has turned forwards. This marks a new chapter for Saturn related themes, especially in relation to Aquarius where he sits currently. Those with Ascendent in Capricorn or Aquarius can start to feel some progress now the ascendent Lord has completed the retrograde motion.

Monday, November 6th  

Main Event: Mercury enters Scorpio, Sun enters Vishakha constellation

Mercury is not particularly happy in Scorpio as Mars isn’t the friendliest towards him. The depths of Scorpio also tend to confound the intellectual calculation of Mercury and bring a degree of frustration. Mercury functions better towards the end of Scorpio where he has worked through the challenges here to come to a solution. Sun enters Vishakha constellation bringing a focus upon these energies through the coming New Moon and into the next lunar month. Vishakha is expansive and collaborative - it’s time to look at teams and agreements that we can enter to help achieve our goals. Sun in Libra is where we lose our egos and become more wiling to co-operate with others. The individualistic energy of Swati now subsides and is replaced with Vishakha’s more harmonious uniting tendency.

Main Event: Fasting for 11th day of decreasing Moon 

Monday, November 13th  

Main Event: New Moon in Vishakha constellation 

Vishakha energy brings in strong themes of growth and teamwork. It’s a great month to build teams, grow projects, try new directions and expand what we do. Vishakha is connected to Jupiter, the planet of growth snd expansion. 

Friday, November 17th Main Event: Sankranti - Sun enters Scorpio 

Sun’s move to Scorpio is a moment of recovery for Sun to process his challenging journey through Libra, and regain some strength. Sun in Scorpio brings themes of deeper understanding of ourselves and our goals. We can now also find ourselves in a clearer way if we’ve felt a bit lost as Sun moves through Libra, which can be a time of being caught in the wave of others and unclear about what we need for ourselves.

Sunday, November 19th Main Event: Moon in Naidan Navtara in Sravan constellation 

The next two days are challenging for the Moon. Today the Moon energies will tend to bring procrastination, blocking the flow of growth for the current lunar month.  

Monday, November 20thMain Event: Moon/Saturn conjunction

Moon joins Saturn and this can bring heaviness, responsibility and a feeling of one’s burdens. It’s a good day to move the body and take things more lightly.  

Thursday, November 23rd Main Event: Saturn enters Shatabhisak constellation, Moon/Rahu conjunction

There are strong energies on this day for magic to happen, especially around material and physical themes. Those with planets in Dhanistha constellation can now feel the pressure of Saturn passing. His gaze comes once again to Shatabhisak. This constellation is about magic and miracles. Saturn here asks us what is the work required to make the miracle possible. And what blockages do we need to work through. It continues the fear themes of the Lunar eclipse from October with Saturn encouraging us to work towards resolving them.  

Friday, November 24th Main Event: Fasting for 11th day of increasing Moon 

Monday, November 27th Main Event: Jupiter enters Aswini constellation, Mercury enters Sagittarius. Full Moon in Rohini constellation 

Rohini is connected to fertility and creativity. It is a grounded and internal energy and Full Moon as a meditative day indicates this is a great day to take a break and process what’s happened so far in the energies of expansion around Vishakha. Jupiter returns to Aswini for one more wave of expanding the themes of Aswini, with themes of giving our gifts to others and receiving the benefits that the world has to reciprocate with us. If we are still holding back with what we have to offer, now is a great time to change that.

Thursday, November 30th 

Main Event: Venus enters Libra

Venus returns home to Libra today. Venus in Libra is a wonderful transit for relationships, partnerships and balanced connections with others. This energy is very harmonious with Moon energies for this month which are already about connection with others.
