Astro Newsletter update

Hi ,

It's time once again to look at the sky for the coming fortnight and the weeks ahead...Venus has entered into Pisces, his favourite sign and will remain there until March 12th. This is a wonderful transit for all things related to Venus in general, relationships and partnerships, as well Venus in particular within each of our charts. Venus comes together with Jupiter in the sign, amplifying Pisces energies of dreams, hopes, aspirations and ideals. It is a strong combination for spiritual focus and pursuits as well. Sun has joined Saturn in Aquarius and we will see Saturn energy slightly diminished as he attends to his father over the coming few weeks. It's a great time to find harmony between these planets. They are both very strong in the idealistic side of Aquarius where bold ideas for the betterment of humanity thrive. It presents a peak of possibility for communication, sharing, illumination of ideas and potential to work together towards them. As long as ego can be left aside, which is the Sun's big challenge travelling in Saturn's sign with him. Currently Aquarius is very strong with New Moon, Saturn and Sun all present there. Aquarius brings high ideals onto the table, and purpose behind life. The 'why' becomes very strong with Aquarius, rather than the what. It's a great time to define mission statements, considering the why of everything you're currently engaged in. Rahu has entered the constellation of Ashwini leaving Bharani behind. He is now more free to work his magic and also his mischief. Ashwini is very swift, and this month we have the Rahu ruled Shatabhishak landing on new moon. Which means... expect the unexpected! Surprises are possible through this next several months, especially around the eclipse season coming late April, early May. Many astrologers have discussed the extra energy flowing in Aries over the coming months and how Aries will likey hold some magic. Depending upon which house that is from the Ascendent and the Moon, you can see which areas of life that will likely affect.

Friday, February 24th

Main Event: Mercury in Dhanistha

Mercury feels his princely side shine in Dhanistha, the constellation of fame and external showiness. It's a great time to share a message or a vision or to add an external aspect to that which Mercury rules in your chart.

Saturday, February 25th Main Event: Jupiter to Revati constellation, Moon/Rahu conjunction, Mars to Mrigashira constellation

Jupiter in Revati is a strong energy of generosity. From now for 2 months Jupiter will compel us to give material things, resources and things at our disposal to the support of others in their endeavours. All generosity under Jupiter returns to the giver as giving is the abundance creating mechanism of the universe. Today may not be the best day to choose what to give though... as Moon joins Rahu and our clarity of mind feels the shadow of the North node. Mars in Mrigashira reinvigorates our desire to search for answers. If there's something in life we are wondering about, then this transit will likely push us into a space where we can no longer wait. And if we are already searching deeply, then that search will likely be more strongly encouraged.

Monday, February 28th

Main Event: Mercury to Aquarius

Mercury in Aquarius supercharges the energies of communication. If there was ever a time when you would speak up, now is the time. Probably there is a tendency to speak up about uncomfortable subjects as Mercury joins Saturn. Saturn likes to go deep into the uncomfortable and work through the issues involved.

Thursday, March 2nd

Main Event: Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Pisces, Venus enters Revati constellation

Venus and his easygoing nature meets Jupiter and his rules based lifestyle. How will they harmonise. This is a great time for finding balance in life between our freedom and our obligations. Both need the appropriate amount of time and space.Venus in Revati tends to be quite spend happy and is good for spending on travel, booking a trip, buying furnishings and generally spending to beautify our lives.

Friday, March 3rd

Main Event: Fasting for 11th day of Moon, Mercury/Saturn conjunction

Mercury and Saturn combining can give difficulties in communication, social areas and business. Probably not the best time for important meetings or decisions. The good news is that Mercury will move on fairly quickly, with this influence mainly only for about a week.

Saturday, March 4th

Main Event: Mercury enters Shatabhishak constellation

Mercury enters Shatabhishak which will tend to bring great ideas and inspiration, particularly or alternatives that you didn't consider before. It's a great time to make some space for daydreaming, especially on the coming Wednesday which is also the first day of the waning cycle carrying the creative energies of the creator god, Brahma.

Monday, March 6th

Main Event: Sun enters Purvabhadrapada constellation

Purvabhadrapada is concerned with deep truths hidden very far down. There is deep commitment required to unearth them. This constellation can bring anger and frustration if those depths are not easily reached or navigated. This fortnight has the capacity to show us things about ourselves from deep within that we didn't realise were there. It's also possible that from a deeper part of us we realise some goals that we really want to achieve that may or may not have been fully aware to us.

Tuesday, March 7th

Main Event: Full Moon in Purva Phalguni constellation. Lunar New Year.

Purva Phalguni is a sensual and masculine constellation concerned with giving direction and shelter to the feminine abundance within all of us. This Full Moon has the energy of seeing how we care for, protect and nurture our feminine sides, from the masculine point of view. This will also reflect out externally in how these dynamics play out in the relationships around us. There are several New Year calculation choices in the East, and today being the Full Moon in March is one such consideration, particularly in Eastern India. This is the appearance day of the Chaitanya Avatar who brought mantra and chanting as the main spiritual practice for this age of the Kali Yuga.
