Hi ,

It gives me great joy to send out this newsletter on my solar return day, my birthday. Another lap of the Sun is complete and a new year chart is cast. I'm looking forward to sharing more insights over the coming 12 months. 

Saturday, November 12th  

Main Event: Venus enters Scorpio

Venus entering Scorpio intitiates themes of the coming weeks of depth of love. How deep is my loving relationships and where are they suffering due to superficiality. Scorpio is still and deep, and compels us to face the deeper parts of things. 

Monday, November 14th  

Main Event: Mars re-enters Taurus, Mercury enters Scorpio

Mars is in retrograde motion and moves from Gemini back into Taurus where he'll be for the coming months. Mars brings practicality to material needs here, so it's a great time to plan those things. The eclipse past also brings a refresh to this theme of seeing what hasn't worked and what is a better way to proceed. Mercury in Scorpio is not ideal for Mercury who wants to quickly move through things but is held back by the depths of Scorpio. The calculating Mercury becomes confused and unclear, lines are blurred and actions are misunderstood. 

Wednesday, November 16th  

Main Event: Mercury and Venus enter Anuradha, Sun enters Scorpio

Anuradha is a constellation connected to the themes of love. It relates to arousal, feelings felt in partnership, intimacy or groups and the joy experienced by being able to give to others within a deeply loving exchange. Venus here is very happy, bringing deeper understanding to these themes. Mercury here blurs the lines between friendship and romance and it can be more difficult to understand them. This will reflect in a chart more if Mercury rules love themes, e.g. Sagittarius or Pisces ascendent or Moon sign, which brings Mercury's rulership over the 7th house of relationships and partnerships. Sun coming to Scorpio brings sensuality into the cosmic themes. Scorpio is about hidden things (it's the natural 8th sign) and the Sun here tends to illuminate. So expect some revelations of things coming to light over the coming month.

Main Event: Fasting for 11th day of the waning Moon, Sun enters Anuradha

Main Event: New Moon in Anuradha constellation

For the new lunar month our attention turns to Anuradha constellation. Anuradha is about service and giving oneself to another or others. It is about the joy experienced in service of others rather than one's own selfish pursuits. In this constellation sex and love are explored, with the physical experience of union in love with others revealing the depth of love present. This constellation brings a month of seeing where we are not being met by others due to lack of depth of love in some area which is causing our desires in these areas to feel unfulfilled. The physical connection is present, but are the feelings and is the love actually flowing on a deeper level or not. If it's not then that limits the connection and brings frustration and can even produce opposite feelings of resentment and negativity.
