It's time to look again at the coming fortnight's movements of the planets in the sky. 

Wednesday, August 17th  

Main Event: Sun to Leo and Magha constellation

This month the focus comes to Magha constellation and the sign of Leo. Sun enters Leo on this day, which brings the Sun home for 4 weeks. All themes around Leo are very strong at this time and will tend to bring fulfilment at this time. Leo rising, Leo Moon and Leo Sun people will feel great support and encouragement during this time within those various aspects of their chart. Sun in Leo is good for structure, order, authority being established correctly and everyone feeling more at ease within that order. Magha constellation is about authority and leadership, particularly where it is unquestioned and without any challenge. Magha inspires us to condemn that which is deplorable and remove it from our lives. It can also be cruel and harsh when dysfunctional. Taking charge in this way requires putting that effort into areas that can handle such intensity while we need to avoid this harshness to the more sensitive aspects of ourselves and our lives.

Main Event: Moon Rahu conjunction in Bharani constellation

Moon joins Rahu in Bharani to inspire great transformation. This day is great for inspiration and activation with the negative Rahu controlled and directed by the constellation Bharani.

Friday, August 19th  

Main Event: Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni constellationKrishna janmastami

Uttara Phalguni is about resources being used in an abundant way. Mercury here brings intellect and industry to these themes. This can bring new directions of study, new ideas and growth to all themes of Mercury in each person's chart. Mercury is becoming very happy as he is almost home to his favourite place in the sky, Virgo. Today is the birthday of Lord Krishna who appeared 5000 years ago. His disappearance coincides with the beginning of the current age of Kali and his presence brings to the world great scriptures like the Bhagavad Gita which give society a framework to proceed in spiritual life in the current era. 

Sunday, August 21st Main Event: Venus enters Asresha constellation 

Asresha is the constellation of passionate union and Venus thrives here as the planet of love and relationships. It's a great time for increased intimacy and rekindling of loving exchanges with one's partner.

Main Event:  New Moon in Magha constellation

Magha as mentioned above is authoritative and excellent at removing unwanted things from our lives. The coming lunar month gives everyone the chance to reestablish order in their lives, remove the negative elements by establishing order and energising the correct way to proceed. It's a great time to remove unwanted habits or to remove that which doesn't serve us on our higher path.
