Astro Newsletter update

Hi ,
It's time to look again at the coming fortnight's movements of the planets in the sky.
Tuesday, April 19th
Main Event: Mars to Shatabhishak, Venus to Purvabhadrapada constellations
Mars has arrived in Shatabhishak constellation. Mars here feels a degree of frustration as he struggles with the intangible and unclear. Shatabhishak is the miracle constellation which creates something out of nothing under the energies of the shadowy Rahu. Mars and Rahu tend to clash on these points of practicality, Mars happy to follow rules and Rahu keen to break them. So Mars ruled people and themes will likely operate in fits and starts over the coming weeks, with the general feeling of being a bit unsettled. Venus in this position has his sensualism checked and he comes in touch with his higher spiritual wisdom. It can be a time where frustration is expressed at the inability to achieve material successes, especially if they are in relation to Venus (in the themes of the houses that Venus rules in your chart) or dissatisfaction with the material achievements already attained.
Friday, April 22nd
Main Event: Strong Venus energy
In relation to the previous paragraph, the Venus energies are very strong on this day giving the opportunity to really explore spirituality and the deeper meaning of everything related to Venus in our lives. Venus is the Lord of Taurus and Libra, so the themes of those signs and the house position is where the attention is focussed.
Saturday, April 23rd
Main Event: Mercury joins Rahu in Kritika constellation
Mercury becomes agitated entering the fiery Kritika constellation and joining with Rahu. It is important to be cautious around Mercury themes for the coming couple of days until Mercury becomes established in Taurus on Wednesday 27th April.
Monday, April 25th Main Event: Moon/Mercury conjunctions
The Mercury conjunction with Rahu is at the same time as Moon is conjunct Saturn. It's a good day for a holiday and here in Australia we are lucky to have Anzac Day. Best not to use the day off to work on things or to try to figure anything out, but rather to have a full rest and switch off completely.
Tuesday April 26th
Main Event: Planets of house cusps
This week most of the planets are close to house cusps which is where the borders are between the signs. At these points, the planets lose strength so this week is likely to be a bit slower or a bit more of a struggle. This is leading up to the change of sign of Saturn later in the week.
Wednesday, April 27th
Main Event: Ekadasi
Fast for the 11th day of the decreasing Moon.
Thursday, April 28th
Main Event: Venus enters Pisces, Sun enters Bharani constellation
Venus has arrived at his favourite sign Pisces which brings several weeks of positive energy to relationships, themes of love, and desire for more intimate social exchanges. Jupiter is also in Pisces which brings a healthy harmony between these two planets who are in some ways not in harmony with each other. Essentially Jupiter is more about rules and duty and Venus is more about unconditional love and freedom. At this time it's possible to find a harmony between these two forces.Sun in Bharani is a very positive energy for procreation and growth for the next 2 weeks. It is a great time to birth new projects, ideas and endeavours. It is also a good time to illuminate those areas of your life that need things removed. Bharani has the power to create and destroy, so her destructive capacity can also be expressed during this transit. The Sun is both a nurturer and a destroyer - he gives warmth and also he burns.
Friday, April 29th
Main Event: Saturn enters Aquarius
Saturn entering Aquarius is an important shift in the cosmic energies. In Aquarius Saturn will amplify all the themes of Aquarius which are communications between everyone, welfare for others, self sacrifice and support for the lower classes of the people. Leo is the sign of authority and opposite is Aquarius the sign for the people. Lower here does not mean lesser, but rather everyone has a role to play in the society. Vedic culture honoured all the parts of society and recognised the need for them to be in harmony with each other.
Sunday, May 1st
Main Event: New Moon in Bharani constellation
Out with the old, in with the new. Bharani is a powerfully transforming constellation related to the Goddess Durga. This month we explore the themes of how we are stuck and what's holding us back, as well as feel the impetus to push forward with what we want to create. It is a reset month for those with Bharani constellation in the birth chart and is also a month to be careful about anger and aggression as Durga Devi is very fierce. The process is likely to be painful and difficult and the fruits of it to be very positive.
