Astro Newsletter update

Hi ,

It's time to once again look at what's happening in the sky above for the coming fortnight.

Nov 7 Sun to VishakhaSun entering Vishakha brings the solar energy to the constellation of Vishakha which is about growth, expansion and sharing. This next 2 weeks is going to be more productive if we look to share what we have, gift what we can to others and facilitate expansion of our interests. It’s a wonderful time to join groups, become more social and collaborate with people with a view to a productive outcome for all involved. Nov 9-10 Wealth daysThe 9th and 10th sees 6 of the 9 planets in the 2nd pada of their constellations which is a pada connected to wealth, cashflow and material acquisition. These days will be great for business activities, purchases, investments and other activities which are geared towards material success and development. Nov 11 Mo/Sa conjunctionMoon joins Saturn in Capricorn, and it is a time of realignment to one’s ideals and goals. It is a great time to focus on details around your work and activities and look deeper into what isn’t working and what is required to help it flow better. Nov 14Ve to PShaVenus is moving through Sagittarius currently and now moves from Mula to his own constellation Purvashadha. Purvashadha is about preparation to guarantee future successes. As Venus moves through this constellation over the coming days it is an ideal time to plan the coming months. Venus would seem to be more a lover than a planner but it’s important to remember his connection to the avatar Parashuram who is a priestly boy that takes up the fighting spirit of a warrior in his fight for what he believes in. This natural theme comes up in Sagittarius and also aligns to Saturn and his friendliness to Venus in Capricorn. Saturn is preparing to welcome his friend Venus to his home in Capricorn where achievement of our ideals will be more easily reached. Nov 15Me to Swati, Fasting dayMercury moves to Swati and enjoys the free movement of the Vayu ruled constellation. Vayu is the God of the Air or Wind. Expect swift movement and quick successes around Mercury related themes in the chart. If you are Gemini or Virgo ascendent or Moon you can expect to feel this airy movement. Of course there will be some chaotic elements arising through this as well as Rahu rules Swati. So this depends greatly upon whether Rahu is friendly or not in your chart. This fasting day is very special and is called Utthana Ekadasi. Utthana means to rise and it is the day of waking up of Vishnu who has been sleeping in Yoganidra for the last 4 months. Vishnu awake is definitely more favourable for support to the gods and all the good souls who are endeavouring to follow the path of dharma. Nov 17 Su to ScSun escapes from Libra and enters Scorpio. Remember, the sankranti days are gear shift days and it’s important to not have any major endeavours or appointments on the day that Sun changes sign. Sun leaves his Libra where he is generally unhappy and reaches Scorpio. Scorpio has themes of hidden knowledge, secrets and deep truths. Expect the Sun’s transit here to bring light onto these themes, and some truth exposure. Nov 19Full Moon in Kritika conjunct Rahu, Partial Lunar eclipseWe have again reached the eclipse cycle which happens every 6 months (because Rahu and Ketu are opposite, it takes the Sun 6 months to travel from one to the other and vice versa). This will be a partial Lunar eclipse which mostly casts a shadow on the pacific ocean. See the link below to see the animation. Eclipses leave a mark on the Earth and the following 6 months has calamity in that location, to varying degrees depending upon other factors. It is always better to stay inside and not bathe in the eclipse, as the Rahu energy at the time is very dark and can cause lots of challenges. It is an excellent time to meditate, chant and go within.https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/lunar/2021-november-19Full Moon in Kritika is another energy that focuses our collective consciousness upon the battles that we are fighting and why we are fighting them. Kritika is ruled by Sun and Kartikeya, the god of war. This is in the early degrees of Taurus, so the material gains of our battles are emphasised, rather than fighting for the sake of it.
